A Tribute to Lewis Grizzard

"Bill Oberst as Grizzard is uncanny … eerie...marvelous "

Join actor Bill Oberst, Jr. as he transports you inside the Southern world of Lewis Grizzard, best-selling author and syndicated columnist.
This is the show that Lewis was planning to take on the road in 1994, had he survived his last surgery. It is a personally selected tribute from both his classic stories his fans loved, and new readings from his columns and books. Some of this material has never been performed live.
Oberst, an actor from South Carolina, captures Lewis' look and his mannerisms faithfully, in the great tradition of the stage.

"The audience laughed 'till they cried...funny and touching" —The Times

Jazz On Jackson:

Vikki True

Vikki True has delighted audiences around the country from coffee houses to symphony halls, from night clubs to cabarets, and festival appearances.
She is "...the soulful redhead with a style that's Dyn-o-mite" (Town Squire Magazine, Kansas City, MO)
Vikki True is a force of nature, a one woman jazz explosion who can scat intricate vocals, croon a gentle ballad, or shout a mean blues.
She came up through the ranks, "schooled" the old way in jazz club cutting sessions at the feet of veteran jazz musicians for whom the MUSIC was paramount. That experience is evident. She loves what she is doing.

"...her songs are presented with deep inner feelings and her ability to caress her listeners, move and spellbind them…" — Town Squire Magazine, Kansas City, MO.
