"Bill Oberst as Grizzard is uncanny … eerie...marvelous " Join actor Bill Oberst, Jr. as he transports you inside the Southern world of Lewis Grizzard, best-selling author and syndicated columnist. This is the show that Lewis was planning to take on the road in 1994, had he survived his last surgery. It is a personally selected tribute from both his classic stories his fans loved, and new readings from his columns and books. Some of this material has never been performed live. Oberst, an actor from South Carolina, captures Lewis' look and his mannerisms faithfully, in the great tradition of the stage. "The audience laughed 'till they cried...funny and touching" —The Times |
