FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT SERIES


    The Family Entertainment Series offers a variety of different style shows to satisfy everyone.  Classics, jazz, drama, and contemporary music are available for your entertainment.  Sponsors for the series are:  The Southern Arts Federation, Lakeway Publishers, Inc., Jacobs Sverdrup, Mike Thompson Ford-Mercury-Mazda, Ray of Hope Center, Woodard's Diamond Showroom, Joe Orr Realtors, Harton Realty, The Marvel Clinic, and Jameson Inn.

    Season tickets for the Series can be purchased for $75 for adults, $55 for students.  Tickets for individual shows may also be purchased.  For more information, call 455-5321 or email sjcc@southjackson.org.

    The Missoula Children's Theatre International Tour Project is the largest touring children's theatre program in the U.S. The concept is based on a week-long residency during which a team of two staff Tour Actor/Directors develop and produce a full-scale musical with 50-60 local children as cast members. Auditions, intensive rehearsals, workshops and finished performances for the public are all part of the residency. The plays are updated versions of classic fairy tales and children's stories. Each production comes complete with professionally designed scenery, costumes, props and makeup, as well as sound and lighting equipment.

The Nutcracker
Ballet


    This holiday show is the story of a young girl named Clara who receives a Nutcracker doll as a Christmas present from her godfather Drosselmeirer, and with the help of a little magic, the doll comes to life in her dreams.
    Enjoy local and regional dancers as they present highlights of The Nutcracker Ballet.

"Monk on Monk"

  T. S. Monk...Son of the legendary Thelonious Monk adds record company founder to his illustrious list of accomplishments including Bandleader, Educator, Vocalist, and of course, Drummer.

  His performance in Tullahoma with his "Jazz Sextet" promises to be a "Highlight" to our entertainment season.
