Vikki True Vikki True has delighted audiences around the country from coffee houses to symphony halls, from night clubs to cabarets, and festival appearances. She is "...the soulful redhead with a style that's Dyn-o-mite" (Town Squire Magazine, Kansas City, MO) Vikki True is a force of nature, a one woman jazz explosion who can scat intricate vocals, croon a gentle ballad, or shout a mean blues. She came up through the ranks, "schooled" the old way in jazz club cutting sessions at the feet of veteran jazz musicians for whom the MUSIC was paramount. That experience is evident. She loves what she is doing. "...her songs are presented with deep inner feelings and her ability to caress her listeners, move and spellbind them…" — Town Squire Magazine, Kansas City, MO. |
